From North and South:

Take I-95 to Exit 45 (Route 128 North - Gloucester).

Take Exit 26, Lowell Street East

Follow Lowell Street through 2 sets of traffic lights.

Pass the Fire Department on your left and then Town Hall on your right.

Keep straight through the center of Peabody.Lowell Street becomes Main Street.

Pass McDonald's on your right.

Pass "Entering Salem" sign on your right.

Main Street becomes Boston Street.

Keep straight in the left lane.

Pass Peter's Laundry on your right.
- At 2nd set of traffic lights, (Dunkin Donuts is on your left and Walgreen's is on your right).
- Go left at lights onto Bridge Street (Route 107 North).
- Follow Bridge Street about a mile.
- At small rotary, take a right onto Washington Street.
- Take the first left onto Church Street.
- Go straight on Church Street.
- After Stop sign, Church Street becomes Brown Street.
- Keep straight until Roger Conant Monument is on your left.
- Take a right onto Hawthorne Boulevard.
- Hawthorne Hotel is on the left.
- Turn left at traffic lights onto Essex Street.
- Parking lot is directly behind the hotel.
Directions from Logan Airport:
- Exit the airport and follow the signs for Route 1A North (Revere/Lynn).
- You will follow Route 1A for 16 miles to Salem.
- You will go through several small towns.
- Keep straight on Route 1A North, the coastal road out of Boston.
- Stay in right lane at both small rotaries and continue on Route 1A North.
- Enter Lynn
- Pass several car dealerships, Walmart, and Ferguson Enterprises.
- Take a left after Ferguson, just before North Shore Community College.
- Pass through Lynn and Swampscott.
- Watch for signs at intersections and continue on Route 1A North.
- Enter Salem.
- Pass Salem State College South Campus on your left.
- Pass Central Campus Parking on your right and continue on Route 1A North.
- Pass Salem State's Main Campus on your right.
- At traffic lights, go left onto Lafayette Street.
- Keep straight on Lafayette Street (Route 1A North/Route 114 West).
- Pass Christina's Pizza on your right.
- Pass St. Joseph's Church on your right.
- At traffic lights, Fire Station will be across the street.
- Take a right onto Derby Street (Route 1A North).
- At next four-way intersection, turn left onto Hawthorne Boulevard.
- Hawthorne Hotel is one block up on the right.
- Turn right at the traffic lights onto Essex Street.
- Parking lot is directly behind the hotel.
